It’s a bit of a long story but now I’ve got two. They flap around in the bathroom all day and spend all night perched next to each other under a pillowcase.
The sparrow’s been having a lot of fluttering practice around my apartment recently, mostly in the bathroom. He’s not fully competent yet and bonks into things and falls, so God’s attention must really be on us a lot.
Here he is on the day I found him, and here he is a few days later, having just demonstrated his ability to fly a whole ten feet. In a few more days he’ll be ready for release.
I think we’re going to need more than one sign.
