I still miss the stupid Stilton. I had this stupid hope that it could work with the stupid Stilton and now I’m so lonely some nights I can’t sleep and I don’t know what to do about it.
Honestly, gross dudes aren’t my biggest problem. I get some of them, but what really wears me down are the guys who sound good but don’t respond when I send them a friendly message, and the guys who message me with nothing but “hey.” Over and over, that “hey,” no caps, no punctuation. It has brought me to tears.
Yeah, I get that. What got me recently is that I was getting notices of a lot of messages from a site I was using, and then I looked at who was actually looking at my profile and realized that these women hadn’t even looked at my profile. The site was sending me generic messages from random women in an attempt to get me to pay money to message them back, and these women might not have visited the site in months and would never receive my message.
I still get those emails that someone has messaged me and I have to admit I die a a little inside when I see them. There’s always that little voice saying “maybe THIS one is genuine!” Loneliness is a terrible thing, but taking advantage of you being lonely makes it worse.
O.O
I rather liked the stilton you were dating but I could see he wouldn’t last long.
