Diagram of Lights
Did you know that the Uzi is named after its inventor? It’s like naming a gun the Steve. The Venn diagram, less surprisingly, is also named after a person, John Venn (though I gather people had used similar forms before, so maybe he doesn’t count as the inventor). He lectured at Cambridge, and I’m happy to say he is honored by a distinctive stained glass window there.
And as always, celebrate Chanukkah or however you spell it with jelly doughnuts, not domestic terrorism.
