By James Stephens, circa 1916. Versions vary slightly in punctuation; this text is taken from The New Poetry: An Anthology, eds. Harriet Monroe and Alice Corbin Henderson, 1917.
I open this page every day and this particular comic is so excellent and important, I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s been bringing me a lot of resolve. Also I think the central panel is so great, the layout and the text and the face and the shading on the Earth’s sea. Thank you Eyeteeth.
Thank you, a comment like this means a lot to me.
