This isn’t Vlad’s first appearance, but you could be excused for thinking that, because he hasn’t been seen since December 2010 (here and here). He makes me too nervous to draw very often, if you want to know the truth.
I did make a good-faith effort to turn this into a comic with panels. I think the whole thing fell apart when I put eyes on the tomato. That’s when I realized it was untenable.
