Dr. Bronner wasn’t a doctor, and his birth name wasn’t Bronner, it was Heilbronner. He ditched the Heil when the Nazis started gaining power. By then he had left his native Germany for America, but his parents stayed behind and were murdered. Kind of makes all that text about the Moral ABC seem less droll.
